RECRUITMENT OF JUNIOR RESIDENTS IN INDIA

 Government Medical College & Hospital invites applications for the following posts
  • Junior Resident
Department:
1. Dentistry: No. of Post; 03 posts (OBC-01, UR- 02)
2. General MED.: No. of Post. 02 posts (UR- 02)
3. General Surg.: No. of Post: 05 posts (OBC-03, UR- 02)
4. Obstetrics & Gynaecology: No. of Post: 01post (OBC-01)
5. Orthopedics: No. of Post: 02 posts (OBC-02)
6. Paediatrics: No. of Post: 05 posts (OBC-03, UR- 02)
7. Radiotherapy & Oncology: No. of Post. 02 posts (UR- 02)
Salary: Rs. 15600-39,100/- carrying grade pay of Rs.5400/- + Other Allowances as admissible.
Essential Qualification & Experience:
The candidates who have already completed their one year rotatory internship are eligible to apply.
Tenure of Post: The above said posts are tenure posts and will be filled up for a maximum period of one year i.e. up to 31.12.2011 subject to satisfactory performance of their duties. The Junior Residency, if done, in any Central institution/hospital, the same shall be counted while working out the tenure of one year, so as the maximum period of Junior Residency should not exceed one year.
Upper Age Limit (as on 1st January, 2011): The upper age limit shall be 30 years for MBBS/BDS candidates for Junior Residents.
MBBS/BDS Registered with State Medical Council Register/Medical Council of India.
Reservation & Relaxation:
a) Age is relaxable for 5 years for SC, 3 years for OBC, 5 years for physically handicapped 10 years for widows/deserted women/women judicially separated from their husbands, who are not re-married.
b) The reservation and relaxation in the upper age limit i.e. for the above categories of posts reserved for such categories will be made, as per the instructions issued by the Government of India from time to time.
c) The SC/OBC candidates applying for un-reserved posts are not entitled to any relaxation in upper age limit/application fee. d) The Candidates belonging to their own category will be considered against the aforesaid posts.
e) The claim of the candidate to SC/OBC categories should be considered only when the same is accompanied by the certificate issued by the competent authority in the format prescribed by the Government of India.
f) In case OBC candidates are not available the candidates of General Category can be considered till GMCH does not get a candidate from the OBC Category.
Application Fee: The Application Fee of Rs.100/- (Rs.25/- in case of SC candidate, if applying for reserved category), non refundable, through Demand Draft payable at Chandigarh in favor of Director Principal, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector – 32, Chandigarh should be sent along with the Application.
