Salary: PB of Rs. 37,400-67,000/- + GP of Rs. 8700/- (pre revised scale of Rs.14300-400-18300/-)
Eligibility: The Officers holding analogues post on regular basis n the parent cadre/dept. of with 3 years service in the Grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale pay of Rs.12,000-16,500/-(pr-revised) of equivalent in parent cadre/Department and or 8 years regular service in the scale pay of Rs. 10,000-15,200/- (pre-revised) and processing educational qualification as under:

1. Post Graduation in Agriculture Science with Specialization in Plant Breeding & Genetics, Biotechnology, Agriculture, Botany,/Seed Technology or related subjects.
2. Total 15 years experience in the field of Agriculture Sciences or Seed Development activities, out of which at least 3 years experience in required in the field of Varietal improvement/Intellectual Property Right and should have worked of 5 years in the post carrying Pay scale of Rs. 12,000-16,500/-(pre-revised) or equivalent of have worked for 8 years in the post pay scale of Rs. 10,000-15,000/-(pre-revised).
Desirable: Degree in Law or Post Graduate certificate course in IPR of Diploma in Management.
Method of Recruitment: On Deputation/on transfer or absorption basis (including short term contract)
Period of Deputation: 3 years, may be extended up to max. 5 years.
Age limit: The Maximum age limit fir appointment by deputation (including short term contract) shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
General conditions:
a. Two copies of recent passport size photographs duly attested by a Gazetted Officer (on the front side of the photograph) with another photograph pasted on the application form.
b. Attested copies of testimonials & certificates in proof of age/date of birth/education qualification/ experiences is required to be submitted
c. Attested copies of Community/Status/Caste certificates in the prescribed format of Govt. of India in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Serviceman category, be submitted, if applicable.
d. Two self addressed envelopes of 23x10cms with postage stamp worth 25/- affixed with each of these envelopes
e. Candidates who are employed in Govt./Semi-Govt./Autonomous bodies etc. Should send their application “ Through Proper Channel”. However, they may also send an advance copy of their application along with certificates and testimonials before due date.
f. Application should be submitted in the prescribed format only, neatly handwritten/typed and should be filled up in block letters.
g. Mere submission of application does not confer any right to be called for written test/interview call.
h. Candidate shall submit one application only
i. incomplete application/unsigned form or applications received without certified copies of certificates or required testimonials, photographs or after stipulated dates will stand rejected without any communication to the candidates.
j. The application form and other documents should be arranged in the following order one below the other, tightly tagged or stapled on the left hand side top corner.
k. In all the above matters, decision of the Competent Authority, PPV&FRA will be final.
Note:
1. While forwarding the applications, it may also be verified that the particulars furnished by the applicant are correct and that no vigilance case is either pending and/or contemplated against him/her and no major penalty has been imposed on them during the last 10 years. The application received without Confidential reports, Vigilance clearance, integrity certificate and statement of major/minor penalty, if any imposed during the last 10 years, or otherwise found incomplete, or received after the last date of receipt of application will not be considered.
2. Pay of the official selected on deputation will be regulated as per provision laid down in the Department of Personnel and Training OM No. 2/8/97 Estt (Pay II), dated 11.3.1998 as amended from time to time.
