- Eligibility
(A) Nationality –
A candidate must be a citizen of India
(B) Educational Qualification -
Bachelors Degree in Commerce or Degree in any discipline with Diploma in Accountancy.
Desirable:- Masters Degree in Commerce and knowledge of personal Computer/Word Processing/Date Entry
- Age : 18 to 28 years. Age relaxation will be as per the directives of Govt. of India
- Selection procedure
(a) Selection will be on the basis of performance in personal interview
(b) The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview.
(c) Where the number of applications received in response to the advertisement is large and it will not be convenient or possible for the KVIC to interview all the candidates, the KVIC at their discretion may restrict the number of candidates to a reasonable limit by any one or more of the following method:
(i) On the basis of either qualifications higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement; or
(ii) On the basis of the experience in the relevant field; or
(iii) By holding a screening test
The candidate should therefore, mention all the qualifications and experience in the relevant field over and above the minimum qualifications and should attach attested/self certified copies of the Certificate in support thereof.
- Appointment – the candidates selected will be posted anywhere in India.
- How to apply - Application should be typed neatly in Hindi or English in the prescribed format. Application and copies of the required certificates must be sent by ordinary post only in a cover super scribed “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF AUDITOR –II”. - General -
(A) Candidates already employed in Government/Public Sector Undertakings are required to forward their application through their employer
(B) The candidates applying under SC/OBC categories should attach a certified copy of SC/OBC caste certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format as stipulated by the Govt. of India, falling which, his/her application is liable to be rejected. Mere “Declaration on Oath” is not accepted. The Competent Authority for issuing caste certificate to the candidates belonging to OBC is the same as in the case of SC/STs. OBC candidates must ensure that the community to which they belong is recognized as other backward class under the Central Government List i.e. under Govt. of India, Ministry of Welfare Resolution No. 12011/68/93-BCC dated 10.09.1993, published in the Gazette of India extraordinary part – I SEC dated 13.09.1993 (and not as per the State Government List of Income Criteria etc). The caste mentioned in the Certificate should tally by letter to that of the Caste as appearing in the Central Government List/Notification. The certificate inter alia must specify that, the candidates do not belong to creamy layer section excluded from the benefits of reservation for other backward classes in Civil post and services under Govt. of India. OBC certificate should not be more than one year old as on the date of application.
APPLICATION NOT ACCOMPANIED BY THE ABOVE CERTIFICATES WILL BE CONSIDERED UNDER GENERAL CATEGORY.
(C) Candidates applying the post under Physically Handicapped Quota required to be necessarily attach the copy of Physically Handicapped Certificate issued by Chief Medical Officer(CMO) Central Govt./ State Govt./ Municipal Corporation run Hospitals only.
(D) The candidates should not send ORIGINALS of any certificates/testimonials
(E) Candidates are required to paste one recent passport size photograph in the application form and sign it across. They are advised to retain one copy of the same photograph for use at the time of interview. Failure to produce the same photograph at that time will lead to disqualification of the candidates.
(F) KVIC shall not be responsible for an application being rejected which is based on wrong information provided in any advertisement issued by an unauthorized person/institution
(G) Candidates have to appear for the interview at their own cost. However, unemployed SC/ST candidates who are called for personal interview will be reimbursed II Class Rail/Bus fare, as per Rules.
(H) Selected candidates will be governed by the terms and conditions of the service regulations under KVIC.
(I) Before applying for the post, candidates should ensure that they satisfy the eligibility norms in all respects as mentioned in this advertisement, as on the dates specified. The KVIC shall be free to reject any candidate at any stage of the recruitment process, if he/she is found to be ineligible for the post for which he/she has applied.
(J) The decision of the KVIC in all matters regarding eligibility of the candidates, interview, selection and appointment of candidates etc. would be final and binding on the candidates. No correspondence would be entertained by the KVIC in this behalf.
(K) In case any candidate desires to institute any legal proceedings shall be instituted only in the Courts in Mumbai and not in other Courts.
(L) Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
(M) Candidate’s invitation for the personal interview is strictly provisional. The mere fact that the call letter has been issued to the candidate does not imply that his candidature has been finally cleared by the KVIC.
(N) Once an application is submitted by the candidate under particular category, it cannot be changed subsequently.
(O) Candidates in their own interest are advised to submit their applications well in time before the last date to avoid possible delay in post transit. Applications received after the last date shall be rejected. The KVIC takes no responsibility for any delay in receipt or loss in Postal transit of any application or communication.
(P) The selected candidates will be eligible under New Pension Scheme introduced by the Govt. of India w.e.f. 01.01.2004.
